Founded in 2025, Chasing the Checkers is a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering children and adults to engage in all aspects of racing, from graphic design to engineering a chassis. Our mission is to collaborate with partners at all levels of the racing industry to provide safety training, equipment, and transportation to participate in events at racetracks across the country. We will also provide training and education within a school type setting for those interested in getting behind the wheel of a racecar.

 

We have been involved in racing for over 50 years and have witnessed the increasing expenses that deter individuals and families from getting involved in the sport. Our goal is to expand and to eventually have three educational facilities located on the eastern coast of the United States. These facilities will provide free education and training for individuals interested in racing. All trainers will be professional series drivers and/or local hometown racing heroes. The training facilities will provide safety gear and equipment, education, and race ready cars for individuals to learn and experience racing.
